Pinterest Does Not Lie: M Visits Cinque Terre

What was your favorite part of this week?

Traveling to Cinque Terre with M!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Saying goodbye to most of my family for the week because the two youngest children and I are off to stay in the mountains for 10 days a couple hours away from Milan.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week.  I helped my family prepare to start moving out.

Tell us about your week! My family has been busy getting ready to move to another house so I helped them pack some things as well as helped keep the kids out of the house. My family and I have been pretty busy preparing because next week I am going to the mountains with the two youngest children as the rest of the family moves into their new house. This week I was able to see the place I thought only existed on Pinterest...Cinque Terre! And let me tell you, Pinterest does not lie!

It means "five villages" and M and I scored an awesome Airbnb in the best village of all, Manarola!

It was about a four hour train ride from Milan and when we finally arrived we immediately went out and started exploring the villages. There was cliff jumping, restaurants on the water, beautiful colored houses, and a lot of memories made! It was absolutely beautiful! Cinque Terre is known for its lemon trees and as we walked down the cobble stone streets, the smell of fresh lemons filled the air. I loved being able to cross off yet another amazing place off my bucket list. Cinque Terre was one of my favorite places I've traveled to in Italy, and I will most definitely be back!
