K’s Chill Week ❄️

What were you grateful for this week? Medicine.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Being sick in a different place.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week. I cleaned the kitchen after dinner one night!

Tell us about your week!  I was sick all week with a cold so I didn’t do much. All the traveling had caught up with me, plus I guess it’s just that time of year for colds. I took it easy this week and we had a relaxing weekend as well but it was still a great week!

I had delicious dinners with my host family this week, some of my favorite meals so far. The grandma came over to cook, and her food is always the best! It’s nice to be in a home surrounded by family and friends and get yummy meals everyday even though I’m in a foreign place and away from my own family and friends. I am blessed with an amazing, kind and caring host family who treat me as if I’m another member of the family. The parents, grandparents and nannies were all looking out for me and concerned while I was sick! It’s nice to feel so a part of the family and comfortable here.

This weekend H and I took it easy and got a really cute airbnb in the lecco area near Lake Como. We both were feeling exhausted and felt like we needed a relaxing weekend to reboost! You stay so busy here and you’re constantly on the go, it was nice to have a chill weekend together!
