Amazing Weekend (2 Weeks Left!): N’s Week

What were you grateful for this week? I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made this past week.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Trying to take care of everything for when I get back home.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week. I watched the kids on Friday night so that [my host mom] could go out.

Tell us about your week!

This week was really good. It’s crazy that I only have 2 weeks left; it doesn’t feel real, it’s crazy how fast time really does go by. I think it’s weird because I’m finally getting used to being here, I’m finally getting into a groove and really making the most of this experience and now I have to leave! Haha I’m so grateful for this whole experience though.

This week I met up with M3 two times; we went to the colosseum together and had lunch. Then on Saturday we hung out all day, from the afternoon until the next morning actually. We stayed out all night and watched the sunrise early in the morning. It was so fun to connect with her! And now I have someone who I can call up anytime and hang out with. We also hung out with L that day too; all three of us went to my favorite taco restaurant that is just right down the block from my house and then we walked around all afternoon. It was really awesome.

On Sunday, because I stayed out so late on Saturday I just slept most of the day haha! I can’t complain because Saturday was so amazing.

On Friday I stayed with the kids so that Teresa could go out; I had dinner with them and then we all watched a movie and made their favorite snack that I introduced them to; which is popcorn with peanut m&ms mixed into it! All in all this week and weekend was amazing.
