⛰The Hills Are Alive...M2’s Trip to Austria, Germany, & the Alps!

What were you grateful for this week? New friends!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Saying goodbye to friends heading back to the states.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week.  I was able to take B to the pool this week!

Tell us about your week! This week has been so hot in Merano!! It has been so humid! We went to the pool a couple of times which has been so nice to cool off during the day! Plus a couple of slides is always fun in the summer time! We also met up with some of B’s friends at the pool so they got to play all day while I worked on my tan!

This weekend I was able to travel with K and S to Innsbruck Austria! We met up with two German boys that K and S has met previously in Rome. It was so nice to have them with us because they could speak German but also because we had so much fun with them! We drove to Salzburg, Austria where “The Sound of Music” was filled and got to explore some of the memorable places from the film! We also ate some delicious German food!!

On our way back to Innsbruck we stopped in Germany for dinner and watched the World Cup game of Germany vs. Sweden and got to experience seeing Germany win while in Germany! One of the best experiences by far!! On our last day in Innsbruck, we took a tram up to the alps (7500 ft up) and got to see an incredible view and take some of he best pictures! This trip was definitely one of my favorites!
