🇫🇷 T’s Weekend in Paris

What were you grateful for this week?  Paris and my 1-2 French class.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week? Traveling alone!

Tell us about your week! This week I went to Paris! My host family was kind enough to extend my weekend for this trip, for which I’m eternally grateful. So I had all of Friday Saturday and Sunday in Paris which was honestly still not enough and I can’t wait to go back for a longer trip with friends or family. I had all Friday at Disneyland Paris. Which was a DREAM. Not very comparable to Disneyland CA, because that will always be my baby and number 1, but still great. Riding all the rides on French, seeing the different layout and different additions that Paris had was so cool. I also went to the other park, Hollywood studios, which has my baby The Tower of Terror. I wish it wasn’t so cold there I would have probably enjoyed it more, but hey! Then Saturday was my designated museum day. I went to the Louvre and The Musée D’Orsay. I wish I had more time at both, but they both closed at 6 pm, so I had to kind of rush seeing things.. thankfully I saw all the paintings I wanted to see. Then that night I just strolled through Parisian streets. Had some macaroons, and hot chocolate too.

On Sunday I went to the Château Versailles, which was so grand! A beautiful place, with an even grander back yard (again wish it was less cold so I could have enjoyed it more). I then went to the Notre Dame, which I sadly went to late to be able to go up to the towers. After that I visited the Musée d’orange, which is where a bunch of Monets paintings are! Then of course I went to the Eiffel Tower, went to the top, saw the view, took some pictures. IT DEF LIVED UP TO EXPECTATIONS. It’s huuuuuuge and grand and amazing especially at night. Then I went to the class Angelica’s for hot chocolate (the BEST) and a croissant (also the best). And for dinner, a classic crepe yummm. I wish I had more time there, there was just so much I didn’t get to see or do. I can’t wait for my next trip to Paris.
