🏂M3’s Week in Milan🎿

What were you grateful for this week? How close everything is in Milan.

What was the most challenging part of this week? adjusting to the hours and work schedule.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week.  My host family needed a little extra help over the weekend with their three kids so I stayed the weekend to help. It was really fun too because they took a little family trip that I got to be a part of.

Tell us about your week!  I got more familiar with the city, went shopping a couple times. The little vacation that the family took was to their ski home in France. It was a very beautiful road near a village known as Megève. We all went skiing/snowboarding and spend the night at dinner in the village. It was like a fairy tale the are was so beautiful and covered in lights and cobblestone. All fo the shops and places to eat were very luxurious as well. Throughout the week was a little difficult, because it was the first week me and the family are still trying to get to know each other and trying to set the hours and expectations. The work throughout the week was a little bumpy because they normally have two people watching the kids because there are so many activities that they do its impossible for one person to be around to take them to all of those things. Things have smoothed out a bit more and its easier now that the kids are comfortable with me and the schedule. [My host parents] have done such an incredible job helping me adjust and they provide for me anything I could need. The city is very different from what I'm used to but I am finding out how beautiful it is.
