😭 Bonding w/Host Fam & Friends: L’s Last Week ❤️

What were you grateful for this week? My host family!

What was the most challenging part of this week? Coming to terms with this being my last week in Italy.

Tell us about a "wow" moment you had this week.  I helped do the dishes!

Tell us about your week! It was a really good week! I was getting a little homesick which is always hard, but for the most part this week has been fairly chill. I was able to hang out with my family a lot and go to the pool with the host family’s daughter which was way fun and nice since the weather’s been so hot haha. But ya it was just a really nice week with them.

For my LAST WEEKEND TRIP IN ITALY (it’s crazy) I traveled to Florence one last time!! The first time I went by myself and had done just about everything I’d wanted to do, but this time I was able to travel with the friends I had made! It was so much fun. I didn’t see a lot of new things or anything but it was one of the most fun trips I’d been on. We just all connected so well and it was so fun to bond with them. I’m so sad that I won’t be able to travel anymore with them, but I feel like we’ve all become good enough friends that when we’re in Utah it’ll be so easy to see each other.

It’s crazy that I’m leaving soon. I leave my family in just a few days to go to London then America and it’s crazy! But I also feel really good about it. I’m so glad I did this experience. I was able to see more than I thought possible and meet some of the best people. I am so thankful!
