Good Questions to Ask Host Families
  1. Why do you want your children to learn English?
  2. What are your two or three main goals if I come to live with your family?
  3. What is something you're worried or concerned about?
  4. What are your child's interests?
  5. What's the best way that he/she learns?
  6. What is a typical day like with you and your family?
  7. Do you or does anyone in your family have allergies or food limitations?
  8. Do you have pets?
  9. What should I expect for pocket money?
  10. What is your child(ren)'s current level of English? 
  11. How many Rome Abroad Travelers/au pairs have you hosted before? 
  12. Is there anything else you’d like to discuss with me?
