What was your favorite part of this week?[Going to the] cemetery.
What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Nothing.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.I offered to buy the groceries.
Tell us about your week!I woke up around nine o’clock and then went into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. The host family only has yogurt fruit pasta and crackers. So I decided to have some yogurt with an apricot. The apricots here are very good and they buy the Yomo brand of yogurt, I don’t normally like it but I like this brand of yogurt. The flavor that they buy is grain or something, it’s brown! But once you taste it it’s okay.
Then I pulled out my phone to check social media because my room doesn’t have internet so I have to go into the kitchen to use it. It’s not that big of a deal but something to note. Then I thought to myself “what should I do today” then I got out the Milan tourist handbook that my host family kindly bought for me to borrow while staying here. I decided that I would walk to the cemetery monument. It was a hot day so when I was getting ready I decided to pull my hair up and wear a tank top and some shorts. Then I left the apartment, which is a very nice modern apartment that is located right by the Arco De Pace, which is the famous arch in Milan. Then I began walking through “China Town” until I made it to the cementery.
