We're the link between

young adults who want to

explore the world and

families who want to give their

kids a cultural exchange

Enjoy Italian lifestyle in the city, mountains, and on the beaches of this beautiful place.

Learn from your host family as you immerse yourself in Spanish culture.

Have fun in the land down under as you play outside and appreciate Australia's beauty.

Embrace the beauty of French culture and enjoy delicious foods as well.

Gain true cultural experience as you learn about Chinese lifestyle and help your host kids.

Play games, make crafts, and enjoy face-to-face interaction as you spend quality time together.

Playing with Kids

With Rome Abroad, you aren't just another tourist in another country for a week.

You'll walk, eat, breathe, and even sleep like a local in a way that others only dream about.

Decorating easter Eggs

If you love playing with kids, you'll be a great fit for our program.

We provide ideas of games and activities to do with your host family's kids but you'll have a lot of creative freedom as well.

The goal? Have fun!

The best of both worlds:

You get to learn about another culture, help your host family, and explore other parts of the world.

But you'll also gain skills and experience that will help you build confidence and truly grow as a person.

Once you're in the program, you're added to the group chat. You can meet friends, plan trips, and support each other.

How much do you spend on food? With your host family, you don't need to worry that.

What's expected of you?
Interact with your host family's kids for up to 30 hours per week.

Play and talk to help them learn.

Each week, you'll get paid the standard rate. This amount varies by country — see our pricing for exact rates.

Having a miscommunication with your host family? Not sure if things are going well? Don't worry, you have our full support.

You get 2 days off (usually Sat & Sun). You can use your time off to explore new places or just have some alone time and relax.
