What was your favorite part of this week?Buying Oreos. 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Not having the Oreos. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. I helped clean up dinner. 

Tell us about your week!I was really craving some Oreos. You see I have a bit of a sweet tooth and my [host] family likes to eat light and healthy foods, which has been a bit tough for me. But I’m not complaining because at least there is something to eat. 

Anyway, I was really wanting some cookies if any kind. So I set out on my daily wanderings and decided that I should stop and find some cookies to eat. As I was walking I can across a “Simply”, which is a grocery store here. I went inside in hopes of finding some kind of candy or cookie that I could buy. In the store I was able to find a small selection of cookies and such items, I found some brand of cookies that reminded me of Chips Ahoy, so I grabbed a pack of those and then that’s when I found a box of Oreos. It was a big moment for me, since you see I love Oreos. I mean who doesn’t, right? So I snatched up those Oreos real quick and brought them and my other cookie snacks to the check counter. I don’t speak Italian so when the lady was checking me out and she was like…I just stood there and then handed her my euros and grabbed my items and left in hopes she wouldn’t think I was being too mean.
