Tell us about your week!An exciting experience I had this week, was when E (my host mother ) asked me if I would be to stay at the house from 8-12 just in case the workers to check the gas line showed up. I obviously said that I could do it! Since I wasn’t planning on doing that much for that besides packing. E and the rest of the family left for the day around 8:30, then I woke up after they left so to not get in the way of their morning routine. I continued to search the fridge for some yogurt, once I found the yogurt I sat myself down at the table where I watched Netflix while enjoying my yogurt for breakfast. Then I went into my room and started to pack up all my belongings. When I heard a buzz, it was the worker! I opened the door and they spoke in Italian. I apologized and said I don’t speak Italian and then one of them started speaking to me in English and asked if they may come in to look at the gas box, I gladly let them in and told them if they needed anything I was here. They had a few questions about the gas box but I didn’t know the answers so I just sat there awkwardly while they called their boss to ask him.
