Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This week the little boy was telling me a story about a magical fish that could grant you any wish. After he finished his story I asked what he would wish for if he had a magical fish, he said “I wish I wouldn’t have to fight with my mom and sister. But I guess it’s ok. I will just have to learn from it.” I was touched.
Tell us about your week!
CHEESEI went to the cheese festival with Vivien this weekend… and oh my. I might as well have died and gone to heaven. There were booth on booths of artisans and chefs and all they were selling was cheese! Not just any cheese tho…Beautiful cheese; the types of cheese that Americans can only drool over in the grocery stores bc they’re expensive af.I could’ve cried.I could’ve danced.I couldn’t have eaten more cheese.PASTERIES I am sorry this week is a lot about food, but it was just really good ya know?Let me paint a picture for you:“We trekked through the cobblestone streets, each turn drawing us further and further into the city. Our legs trembled; breaths heavy with emotion. The tiny, golden pastries beckoned, to the us, with their delicate flakes. One dusted in powder, the other infused with hazelnut chocolate–trying to resist would be futile. The moment my lips met the baked goods was celestial. It was as if they were made with fairy dust and baked in a rainbow. I could’t remember my name, I could’t remember the month. All that truly mattered was the tiny delicacy in my palm; all life had lost its meaning.”
