What were you grateful for this week?Traveling with my best friend. 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?Learning the metro in Milan. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.I always make it a priority to leave any part of the house cleaner than how I found it. 

Tell us about your week! This past weekend I explored Gallarate and Milan with my best friend K. It was a beautiful day in Gallarate this past Saturday, and it was fun to further explore the city that we live in. We went to a few cafes, and successfully ordered pizza over the phone in Italian. It was nice to have a relaxing day. 

On Sunday, we traveled to Milan for the day. The train and bus systems here make traveling really convenient, although it can be confusing sometimes, we learn something new every time we travel and become more and more familiar with each system.

We saw the Duomo in Milan city and it was breathtaking, the cathedral is unbelieveable and has the best shopping! It is so fun to just walk up and down all the streets and look at all the cool stores. You are surrounded by so much history and beauty here, I often have to pinch myself when we travel because all the scenery and culture doesn’t seem real! 

Italy is such an amazing place overall, but one of my favorite parts is all the cafes here. I love how people make it a priority to meet and gather with friends at all times of the day for a quick coffee or croissant.
