This week went by super fast! I think because I am starting to get used to the routine. I have become close with another au pair that lives near by to my host house, we have a sweet breakfast/lunch date nearly every week day. Living out in Gallarate it’s a little deserted so it’s nice that we have each other. We are trying to go to every patisserie here and try all the amazing pastries!! Everything is so cheap and we only spend about 3-5 euros a day on coffee and treats. We also both have bicycles our families have been letting us borrow so we get to go on nice bike rides.
The daughter has finally really warmed up to me now so I don’t feel like a stranger anymore, she treats me like an older sister and it is nice to have her company and sweet kisses and cuddles.
This weekend I got to escape to Munich, Germany! M2& and I went and stayed at an old friends place then we all went to Oktoberfest together. That was an experience and a half! Nothing like what I expected, more fun than I imagined it could be. We made a lot of friends, drank liters of beer, and got to ride many carnival rides. Our friend even had Bavarian beer girl outfits for us so we looked the part. It was a weekend to remember 🙂
