Tell us about your week!
This past weekend K and I traveled to Bergamo. It was absolutely gorgeous! Some of the best views I have ever seen, best food I have ever eaten, and nicest people I have ever encountered! I feel like I could truly live in Bergamo…the scenery is unreal!

Walking along the Bergamo wall was so fun. K and I walked all the way to the top where we then took a trolley to San Viogolo. The views were absolutely incredible. We had the best hot chocolate at a little cafe in upper Bergamo and loved walking around the town.

Everything is bright and covered in cobble stone. We really enjoyed our dinner at the cutest little place in Bergamo city. We had the most AMAZING pasta in the world!! And it wouldn’t be a finished night unless K and I ended it with gelato! I noticed a huge difference in how nice and friendly all the people in Bergamo were, sometimes Italians get a little impatient with Americans and the language barrier, but every person we interacted with in Bergamo was unbelievably nice! It was such a good experience and definitely a place we want to visit again before we leave.

One thing that is so nice about traveling in Europe is the train and bus system. It is so cheap and easy to get from one place to the next, which makes traveling less stressful and more fun overall. It was a great weekend!
