A “wow” moment this week has been helping Chiara out! I help with some of the day to day things.

Tell us about your week!
To be honest, K2 and I had quite the adventure this week. We met up with some cute friends, Sean and Lily, from church on Monday to tour the Colosseum and the Forum. They were so sweet and we all went out to dinner afterwards. Tuesday, K2 and I went to the beach.
Skipping a few days, Friday we went to Florence, and on Saturday and Sunday we explored Cinque Terre! Florence was absolutely beautiful. We shopped for cute gifts for our families, ate Lasagna and gelato, and slept in a hostel.
The next day, we took a train to Pisa, and went from there to Cinque Terre. My favorite part about Cinque Terre was getting to ride the ferry on the way out. The land is so pretty, and we even saw some dolphins while we were out. I had pesto (which, YUM) and more gelato (because it’s just that good).
K2 and I left Cinque Terre Sunday night and got back to Roma on Monday morning. That night was definitely an adventure, and although it was beautiful, I’m grateful to be home! [The boys of my host family] are doing great with English. I’ve been reading “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” to them, and have been doing some English worksheets with [one of the boys] so that he can get the basics down. With [the other boy], we have started to dedicate some time solely to have a conversation. Of course we focus on English throughout the day, but I have found that scheduling specific times to dedicate to English works best for us.
