Tell us about your week!
This week was a bit crazy. My host sister had the week off of school and all her after school activities so I was with her most of the day. It was challenging at times. But I learned a lot about patience and service and 10 year olds!

This week was also Halloween and so I let my host sister dress me up how she wanted. She chose to make me a killer clown. So she went ham with the makeup, dyed hair, and outfit. That was fun to see her excitement about this American holiday.

I was grateful on Sunday when I was able to go on a day trip to see beautiful Trento! It was awesome and such a fun adventure. I’m glad I got that opportunity! This is also my final week here (this coming week) and so that’s exciting – and sad. I’m excited to see my family and fiance at home, but I’m also so sad to be leaving the family and Italy.

I decided with my host mom to leave for Venice a day early and explore it with some fellow Rome Abroad travelers before I ship off on Sunday morning toward Utah again! Yay! That will be fun!
