What were you grateful for this week?
We have had really great weather this week and I’ve been able to read and enjoy the sun while the boys play in the courtyard after school.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
The boys have different activities after school so I’m getting used to their schedules and where to pick them up. I’m grateful [the host family’s nanny] has been so patient with me while I am figuring everything out and getting used to the swing of things.
Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
M and A have been traveling for work so I have been able to help out by taking the boys to school in the morning.

Tell us about your week!
M and I went to the center of the city almost everyday this week which was so fun! We shopped, went to lunch and people watched with gelato as usual. The Duomo is absolutely incredible in person, the detail on the building is breathtaking. It was fashion week in Milan but unfortunately we didn’t see Gigi, Kendall or get asked to model so that was a little disappointing.
Hahaha.
We spent the weekend in Cinque Terre and it was beautiful! We meet up there with K and K2 from Rome and it was so fun to get to know them. I loved being by the ocean and being able to dip my feet in. We took a ferry to the farthest village and saw dolphins, ate fried fish, took to many pictures of the adorable colorful villages and of course got lots of gelato.
Sunday night M and I made dinner, did face masks and had a movie night, it was awesome! I love coming back after being gone for the weekend because [one of my host family’s sons] always gives me a big hug. The boys are warming up more everyday and starting to listen better.
They are also getting better at communicating with me, if they can’t figure out what to say in English they will act it out or show me what they want, it’s been really cool to see them start to figure it out! I’m so excited for this weekend only 4 more days until M and I are on our way to ROME!
