Tell us about your week! I had a great week. Over the weekend I took a trip to Cinque Terre wanting to hike through all 5 of the coastal cities. I did some planning beforehand so that I knew how to get through each city. The hostel I stayed in was located in Riomaggiore, which is the first city. I decided to take a train to the furthest city, Monterosso, and started my journey there.

I ended up wandering through Monterosso for about 40 minutes because I didn’t know where the trail started, but Monterosso is a good place to wonder. It has such a beautiful beach and the city is awesome. But I was able to find the trail and after many many steps and a long way, I reached the next city, Vernazza, which seemed to be the most picturesque, but they all are. Then on my way to Corniglia, which is set on top of a hill overlooking the sea. Then to Manarola, which might have been my favorite city of the five, but getting there was no easy task. 

The trail had been damaged to flooding and I wasn’t able to find another trail…[Eventually] I finished the journey to Riomaggiore. The main trail was also damaged to flooding so I had to take the long way over the mountain/hill that separated the two cities. I arrived around 10:00 PM with turgid feet, but I did it. The next day was a nice time at the beach. I loved Cinque Terre.
