What were you grateful for this week?I explored milan a little bit more!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?It was Z’s last weekend 🙁

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. After dinner [my host family’s daughter] likes to be with her mom so I do the dishes.

Tell us about your week! This week was just really relaxing! [My host family’s daughter] was sick so she didn’t go to school for a few days. We spent the day putting puzzles together, blowing bubbles and playing memory. [She] is so good at memory she beats me everytime! We went to the bakery and got her a sweet bread and a milk and took a walk. Her English improves day by day and it’s fun to watch her improve!

It was Z’s last weekend in milan so we just walked around and saw the canals and met up with L! There was a chocolate festival going on so we walked through and they had the most amazing sculptures made out of chocolate! There were chocolate shoes and action figures it was really cool we had a really good time.

On Sunday Z and I spent the day doing what we do best, walking around, shopping, and getting gelato. It’s been so fun experiencing this journey togeyher! I’m so sad she’s going home but I told her to eat an in & out cheeseburger for me and to take a drive in the mountains. I can’t believe I only have 6 weeks left! Time has really flown by here and I can’t wait to see what other adventures I’ll have the next few weeks!
