What were you grateful for this week?this week I was very greatful for the chance to make new friends.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?the most difficult thing about this week was almost missing our flight back home from paris, not being able to check in online for some reason so we were charged €55 to check in at the airport which we didn’t have. it was a mess.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. the wow moment this week was small but but effective. my host family went out of town this weekend and while they were packing I just kept their son occupied which is pretty hard so I mean it was a wow moment for us all.

Tell us about your week! alright. this was easily the best week of my life. well the weekend specifically. the week was the same which I literally say every week but it’s true. it’s not a bad thing though!

anyway this weekend I FINALLY got to go to paris. I’ve been dreaming of going there since I was 5 when I first saw the eiffel tower in pictures. I’ve been obsessed with the idea of paris forever. I live for fashion, designing, and macaroons so I was literally in my element. I absolutely loved hearing everyone speaking french. not like I know what they’re saying 90% of the time but it’s beautiful.

the best part of paris was the eiffel tower. I mean my room back in america is eiffel tower everything so I was so mind blown to see it up close in person. it was totally worth sitting in nearly freezing windy weather at night for, I kid you not, 3 hours in the same spot just staring at it. nothing has ever made me so happy and excited in my life.

anyway enough about my obsession for the eiffel tower, and on to other things, like the arc de triumph. it was so much bigger than I expected and it was amazing. also went to the Louvre and saw mona lisa. I’m not really into museums, they are kind of boring but I’ll admit it was really cool there. we spent hours there and still didn’t see everything. besides that we made ansome new friends at our hostel that we’ll definitely stay in touch with. I’ve never met such cool people. yeah so that’s my weekend in like 300 ish words. I could go on and on about how amazing it was. anyway au revoir.
