What were you grateful for this week?FaceTime.

What was the most challenging part of this week? When the boys don’t understand what I’m saying.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. This whole week the host dad has been out of town so I wake up early to take the boys to school.

Tell us about your week! This week I finally feel like I’m starting to get the hang of everyone’s schedule. It was difficult at first to know which activities the kids did which days. The kids have swimming, judo, basketball, piano, and theatre! The housekeeper has been very helpful and it has been great getting to know her better, even if we can only talk through google translate ha. I took the older kids to get gelato one day and I loved trying a new place! It was called Terra if any is in Milan looking for gelato. The pistachio is still by far my favorite flavor.

The best part of my week was getting to travel to Florence with other girls from Rome Abroad. It was so nice to speak English and talk about things we all could relate to. I would definitely suggest planning trips with other people from the group if you haven’t yet! We saw the duomo which was amazing and so old. The David sculpture was also a very cool experience, so much better in real life. Then we climbed the bell tower (my legs were jelly by the end). We ate the best pizza, and stayed in THE TINIEST Airbnb! I loved making new friends and traveling to other parts of the country.
