Tell us about your week!

This past week some of the other girls and I planned a trip to Barcelona! It was completely last minute and not well planned. However, it was successful! It was very stressful getting to the airport! I was having troubles with my phone and got lost. I missed the shuttle to the airport but was able to get on a train. I made it to my terminal with time to spare, thanks to some tips from my travel pals! Barcelona was such a dream! Immediately the arrival brought such a colorful and creative vibe! We were able to navigate fairly using the metro system and were able to hit up all the major attractions. The Gaudi architecture is so lively and unique! We also made it a point to not miss out on trying out the churros! My favorite part of the trip had to be La Boqueria it was a beautiful market with fresh authentic Spanish cuisine. The fruit was absolutely amazing as well!!! Initially when I booked my flight I got the times mixed up and left Monday night instead of morning. So unfortunately I had to miss fulfilling my responsibilities! My host family was super understanding and kind about the situation! The rest of the week was spent in relaxation. I frequent the parks for stillness and peace. An opportunity to enjoy Rome and reset for the next adventure!
