What were you grateful for this week?
My host family (again!!) I spent a lot of time with them this week and they are truly amazing.

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Finding where everything is. This was my first full week going through the schedule and finding where all I need to be and at what time.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.

This weekend, instead of going out, I spent my time going to my host brother’s basketball game and spending time with my host family. It was awesome! I felt like one of the family.

Tell us about your week!
This week was hectic, but relaxed at the same time. I don’t have anywhere to be until late afternoon, so I’m finding it hard to have the motivation to get up and out early! This was my first full week here so it mostly consisted of finding all of the after school activities for my host brother and getting into the routine. My host brother is very independent, so he showed me where everything is and the best ways to get there. Very grateful for him!

I’ve had SO MUCH FOOD. I’ve become a regular at my favorite gelato place, right outside of the school. I’ve made it a habit of going there everyday before I pick up my host brother from school (still trying to decide if that’s a good or bad thing). I’ve also discovered my favorite pizza in Milan! It’s also in a very convenient spot, so I’m sure they will be seeing more of me! I have yet to find my favorite pasta joint, but there is still time! There is so much to see still and I can’t wait to explore it more. I’ve also found it interesting to check how many steps I walk each day. One day, I walked 20,000 steps! I’ve decided that since I’m walking more, I can’t eat more. Isn’t that how it works?!
Overall, a great week! #ciaome
