What were you grateful for this week?
So I’ve only been here one day, but I’m grateful for Italians that speak English haha! It’s been crazy but it’s always nice to get to chat with someone in English! I’m also grateful for board games because they’re fun!!

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Ahhh like I said today was my first day. But I struggled with my littlest boy. He barely speaks English and he likes to bite hahah. It’ll be hard but I’ll figure it out. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 
When I got here, [my host mom] offered to take me home or I could go to a party with them. I wanted them to like me haha so I went to the birthday party. I got to run around with the two youngest and it was actually a lot of fun! 

Tell us about your week! 
Ok so I arrived around 6 pm. My host mom and one of the boys picked me up from the airport, along with one of their cousins! It was a super long day of traveling and I was tired but I got to go hangout with my fam at a birthday party. It was at like, an indoor park kind of thing. We ran around and had lots of fun. 

 

Today I picked them up from school, took them to swimming lessons, and am seeing what each kid is like. It was as kind of a tough day because I don’t know them personally yet, but it’ll get better, I’m sure. I got to go to lunch with S2 which was fun!

 

I had to pick the kids up early today and tomorrow so hopefully sometime this week when I get them from school later, I can go meet up with her again and go see some sites and stuff! 

 

Considering it’s only been around 24 hours since I got here I really don’t have that much more to say or tell! Um, the boys have a lot of games and activities they like to do! It’s awesome because All three of the boys like to do things together. So we all can do stuff! It’s insane to me how late they eat dinner! The boys eat around 7 but the adults don’t eat until my host mom gets home from work! I hope I adjust cuz I’m hungry hahaha.
