What were you grateful for this week?
This week I’ve been grateful for the amazing opportunity to see all of the history of Rome. 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?

The most difficult thing this week was trying to find homegirls apartment I got on the wrong bus. Oops. 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 
Again with the sewing, just as we go on with the dress my little girl gets so excited with the progress and I can see how excited my host parents are for her. 

 

Tell us about your week! 

This week was quite the adventure. it’s funny I’ve been here 1 week and my host family asks what I’ll do the rest of my time, as they’ve said I’ve literally seen all of Rome.

 

So I went to the Trevi fountain, which brought back child hood memories of “the lizzy mcguire movie”, and I couldn’t leave there without throwing my coin in and making a wish. It was too bad I didn’t get to ride around on a vespa with a cute italian singer. We also went to the Colosseum again, and finished off with gelato from this cool place with chocolate running down the wall. 

 

And the club…that was the climax of this week’s adventure. We got in for free, assuming the reason being we’re american girls, then on top of that we got free drinks the whole night which was my “wow moment” because i wasn’t about to pay literally €15 for 1 drink. It pays to be cute american girls I guess. We also met some cool people there. One girl was from Italy, she went alone and we could tell she was bored so we asked her if she wanted to join us, thank goodness she spoke english. I also met someone from switzerland who was just a doll, I must have had one too many drinks because I somehow managed to not save his number. Oh well. Anyway that’s really all I did this week.
