What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Adjusting to my friends no longer being here.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
Helping [my host mom] at the mountain house because it was just the two of us. I feel a lot of gratification after weekends like that.

Tell us about your week!
This past week was our first normal, full week. And it went really well! Adjusting to a new routine is always a bit complicated and can sometimes be really hard, but I think that everyone is adjusting really well. The boys are growing RAPIDLY, I don’t understand how it’s possible. My relationship with G is ever changing and ever growing, and not a day goes by where he doesn’t challenge me or amaze me. And P is just the cutest little terror to have ever graced the planet.

I had a crazy month so I’m kind of on a come down of some sort from that. I got to see all of the people I miss and love, we went out and had crazy adventures that were so much fun, etc. So now I’m just readjusting, which is hard. But it’s okay!

I’m also mentally preparing for the fact that I am leaving in a little less than 2 months. I’ve been here for a year, officially. This is always the weirdest part; the ending. Everything gets easier, better, or more complicated JUST before you leave a place. And low and behold, that’s what has happened! This is the third country that I’ve had to love and then leave. I have to say though, out of the three, this one has taught me the most.
