What were you grateful for this week?
This week I’m grateful for making new friends on the same self discovery travel journey that I’m on. 

What was the most difficult or challenging part of this week?
Driving in another country is hard and very frustrating and stressful at times. 

 

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 
I went car shopping with my host mom on my day off to keep her some company and help pick a car!

Tell us about your week! 

This passed week it has been very hot so having a pool is nice. I enjoy my days because even though I’m working it’s nice to be able to lay out by the pool and eat snacks and hang out. I’ve learned that it’s spider season and I actually hate spiders more than I ever realized. 

 

On Friday I went into the city and went to a local pub, going to the pub means drinking a lot usually if there is Australians or backpackers. The pub was so fun and had the best environment it was half pub half club and on Fridays they do karaoke! So all Friday we just drank while people did karaoke and then we even got to dance at the club part after the singing had died down, we made tons of random friends and some how all ended up at hungry jacks eating burgers and chips at 5 am laughing. 

 

Even crazier — we were all from different parts of the world and that’s one of my favorite things about traveling is that you actually meet people from everywhere, people just like you out here on a journey figuring it out while getting to see how cool the world is. Australia amazes me more everyday, I feel so lucky to be here I feel that I grow more everyday.
