What were you grateful for this week?
I am grateful for internet. Because of the internet, although it’s slow… it allows us to travel! I don’t know what I would do without maps to get me around! I am also grateful for kind and helpful people when traveling.

What was the most challenging part of this week?
The most challenging thing about this week is also something that I am the most grateful for; public transportation. It’s reliable yet very unreliable. My host family helped me to change my return ticket so I could spend more time on the Amalfi Coast. It took some time to figure out l, but I’m glad it all worked out and I was able to spend more time there.

Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week.
A wow moment that I had was realizing why Cinque Terre is called Cinque Terre and also how to pronounce it!!

Tell us about your week!
[My host family’s daughter] was very busy studying for her final exam this week. I mostly had downtime because of her being so busy but I got to go out in my host family’s sailboat this week! I also got to see more of Italy and the amalfi coast may be one of my new favorite places!
