What were you grateful for this week?

This week I am grateful for kind strangers. You can find kindness in every corner of the world! This weekend while I was in Florence there were many times where I saw people go out of their way to help me or show me kindness when I obviously looked lost!!???? 

What was the most difficult or challenging thing about this week? 

The most difficult thing about this week was reading Italian street signs! Things aren’t marked the best and some things you don’t type into google maps the same as what you are given. Tell us about a “wow” moment you had this week. 

A wow moment this week was when I ran multiple errands for my host mom. She had me walking all over town to do things for the kids, picking them up and dropping them off so she could pack the house for our summer home. She was very appreciative. Tell us about your week!

My week was crazy!! I went to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine hill, and Florence all in one week!! From gladiators to artists, it was such a eventful and exciting weekend!! My favorite part of my weekend however, was getting to see the statue of David, the birth of Venus painting, and going to a Vivaldi violin concert in an amazing church!! Italy has been remarkable in the aspect that you see so much and experience an enormous amount of culture all in such a short amount of time! It is amazing!
